DAILY EXPENSES uses precise location data to provide its field collection and route-tracking features.
When an authorized collection agent has collection tracking enabled, DAILY EXPENSES may collect the device’s precise location, including latitude, longitude, location accuracy, movement speed, direction, and the time at which the location was recorded.
Location may continue to be collected while the app is running in the background, minimized, or while the device screen is off. Background location is required so DAILY EXPENSES can record an assigned collection route, detect when an agent reaches or leaves an assigned borrower location, calculate travel and waiting information, provide current route status, and allow an authorized manager to view collection-tracking information.
Location data is used only for collection-management, route-tracking, borrower-visit, security, audit, and related operational purposes. It is not used for advertising.
Location information may be visible to the authorized manager responsible for the agent and assigned collection line. It is not made publicly available.
Location information may be processed or stored using service providers that operate the infrastructure required for DAILY EXPENSES, such as database, cloud-storage, hosting, and application infrastructure providers. These providers process information only as required to provide the service.
DAILY EXPENSES applies access controls so that agents can access only collection Lines and features assigned to them, while managers can access information associated with the Lines they manage.
Location records may be retained for the period necessary to provide collection history, auditing, security, dispute resolution, and applicable business or legal requirements. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or archived according to our data-retention procedures.

- Security & Access Control: Enforcing strict Row-Level Security (RLS) so agents only access their assigned line records.
- No Advertising: We do NOT display third-party advertisements or sell user data.
5. Infrastructure & Service Providers
We utilize secure infrastructure providers for cloud database, storage, and computing services:
- Supabase: PostgreSQL database, user authentication, and secure Edge Functions.
- Backblaze B2: Encrypted cloud storage for borrower photos and receipts.
- Google Play Services: Location provider framework and app delivery.
- OpenStreetMap / MapLibre: Map rendering engine for route navigation.
